Back......WITHOUT a heart attack...
First off the photo above is from Chris Clark. It is me skiing in BC last spring. He meant it to cheer me up and it did. I look forward to another run like this without a heart that is skipping at 250 BPS.
As to the procedure it was not your typical Ablation. Suffice to say, as a person who is a perpetual outsider, even within a community that accepts me as an insider, my procedure was no different. Due to the skill and the experience of the Mayo Clinic and my Doctors rational mind my procedure worked out great despite the challenges that were presented. Now I am going through the ups and downs of recovery. My drug schedule has been interesting, I have to inject myself twice daily with blood thinner and had to try several different types of anti-inflamms to get to the point where I was not being sick to my stomach. The catheter insertion spots are healing well though so I have already been out walking and trying to get as much of the great fall weather on my face as possible despite my condition. Lastly, I just wanted to say thanks to all the people who have called and written to find out about how I am doing. I am just starting to dig through the emails and phone calls and will get back to people as I can.
